Janice M. Cowan has been promoted to administrator at the Springfield office of Baird, Kurtz & Dobson. In her new position, she will assist the managing partner and oversee employee benefit plans for the firm's 900 employees. Cowan joined BKD in 1969 and most recently held the title of controller.
Betty A. Hunter has been promoted at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson to controller and director of the internal accounting department. In this position, she will oversee the compilation and processing of BKD's internal financial and forecasting reports, time and billing data, and payroll for the firm's 20 offices. Hunter joined BKD in 1988 and most recently served as internal auditor.
