Shirley Shipley has accepted the position of director of safety services at American Red Cross Disaster & Safety Services. Shipley will be responsible for the supervision of health and safety staff, and the implementation of courses and services associated with many Red Cross programs. She has been a volunteer and staff member since 1977.
Joseph Romay has accepted the position of director of disaster services and armed forces emergency services at the Red Cross. His responsibilities include the supervision of disaster and emergency services staff, and the organization and implementation of all disaster and emergency services throughout a 10-county area. Romay has been a member of the Red Cross staff since 1989.
