Penny Melton has been selected assistant city attorney in the prosecuting attorney's office. Melton received her JD degree from the Washington School of Law in St. Louis, and her bachelor's degree from SMSU. She previously served as assistant prosecuting attorney in both the Franklin County and Jefferson County prosecuting attorneys' offices.
