Prime Inc. has made the following staff changes:
Molly Stoner has joined Prime logistics with responsibilities ranging from brokering excess freight and dispatching brokerage trucks to customer service. Stoner has more than 12 years of experience in the transportation industry, most recently as a terminal manager and supervisor for two less-than-truckload carriers in Springfield.
Lyle Burns has joined Prime's MIS department as a programmer/analyst. His responsibilities include analysis, design, programming and implementation of various MIS projects. Burns previously worked for a Kansas City-based less-than-truckload carrier for six years.
John Murphy has joined Prime's refrigerated division in night sales. Murphy will ensure the integration of the duties of daytime regional sales coordinators into the evening in order to facilitate uninterrupted 24-hour customer service. He previously worked as a sales coordinator for a truckload carrier in Arkansas.
Lisa Hazen has joined the refrigerated division's sales area at Prime. As a sales assistant, she will work directly with receivers to schedule delivery appointments for incoming loads. Hazen started at Prime in 1996 as an intern in marketing and media relations.
