Jim Rhodes has joined Mercantile Bank of South Central Missouri, Monett market, as vice president, general lender II. Rhodes recently worked for Mercantile Bank of South Central Missouri, Springfield market as a consultant.
Also, Becky Scorse has joined Mercantile Bank of Monett as assistant vice president, commercial lender II. Scorse has worked for Mercantile Bank of Joplin as a commercial loan officer for three years.
Mary L. Bair has been elected assistant cashier for Village Bank. Bair will be in charge of lobby operations and new accounts.
Joan W. Williams has been elected assistant operations officer for Village Bank. Williams will assist with daily internal operations and new accounts.
The following employees have received officer promotions at Mercantile Bank:
Kathy Creed is the new vice president of retail banking in Monett. She is responsible for managing retail operations for the six Monett locations.
June Wilson is a new vice president of operations. She was the operations manager and worked at First City for 13 years.
Jo Keesling is also a new vice president of operations. Keesling is responsible for managing the loan operations area for the South Central charter. She has been with Mercantile for 24 years.
DeAnn Floyd is the new assistant vice president in the lending department. Floyd has worked with Mercantile for three years in the loan administration department.
Robert Gunnett is the new assistant vice president of operations for Mercantile. Gunnett is responsible for the audit function of the bank. He has been with Mercantile for four years in the accounting department.
Suzan Bender is the new vice president in the Mercantile accounting department. Bender was the controller/general ledger manager and has been employed with Mercantile for 13 years.
Mark Watkins is a new trust officer for Mercantile. Watkins has been with Mercantile for more than two years in the investment department.
Danita Reed is a new accounting officer at Mercantile. Reed has been with Mercantile in the accounting department since October of 1997.
William E. Nelson has been named the financial services representative for Metropolitan National Bank. Nelson has more than 30 years of banking and insurance experience. He was a licensed agent for Security First Group and a registered representative for CoreLink Financial.
