Drury College has added several new faculty members for the 1998-1999 school year.

Wendy B. Anderson, assistant professor of biology, received her bachelor of science and master of science in biology from Baylor University and her PhD in biology from Vanderbilt University.

T. Bryan Beatty, instructor of exercise and sport science, and assistant swimming coach, earned his bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University and his MBA from SMSU.

Larry G. Burkum, assistant professor of communication, has a bachelor of arts in journalism from Drake University, a master of science degree in journalism and mass communication from Iowa State University, and a PhD in mass media from Michigan State University.

Teresa M. Carroll, instructor of education, has a bachelor of science degree and master of science degree in elementary education from SMSU.

Lari Marie Esposito, assistant professor of philosophy, has a bachelor of arts degree from Whaten college in medieval studies and master of arts degrees from the University of York and the University of Toronto. Her PhD is from the University of Toronto in medieval philosophy.

Terry R. Hudson, assistant professor of education, holds a bachelor of science degree in commercial art and a master of science degree in art education from Central Missouri State University. His PhD is in curriculum and instruction from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Cyril I. Kendrick, visiting professor of sociology, has a bachelor of science degree from Northland College, a master of science in sociology from Mankato State University and a PhD in sociology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Loleta D. Lewis, director of the developmental school program, has a bachelor of arts degree in education from Southern University-New Orleans and has done graduate study at the University of New Orleans.

Vickie R. Luttrell, instructor of psychology, has a bachelor of arts degree from Drury College, a master of arts degree from Hollins College, and she is completing her PhD in educational psychology at Southern Illinois University.

Sara E. Meggee, visiting assistant professor of architecture, has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and a master of architecture degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Patrick J. Moser, visiting assistant professor in languages and interdisciplinary studies, holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of California-Berkeley and a PhD in French literature from the University of California-Davis.

Susan Pedigo, assistant professor of chemistry, received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Colorado, her master of science degree in analytical chemistry from the University of Minnesota and her PhD from the University of Iowa in biochemistry.

Alan K. Purvis, visiting assistant professor of architecture, received his bachelor of architecture degree from Kansas State University and his master of science degree in advanced architectural design from Columbia University.
