Brenda Jackson has joined the American Cancer Society's Heartland Division as public relations specialist. Jackson will be responsible for all media and public relations functions. She has 10 years of experience in sales and promotions and received a bachelor's degree in communications from Florida Southern College.
Stacey E. Claypool has been named development associate for the Southwest Area of Missouri Special Olympics. Claypool has a background in sales and development and formerly worked as a sales assistant with Humana/Med-Pay. In her new position, she will be responsible for development in the 18 counties that the local organization serves.
