Drury College has added several faculty members for the 1998-99 school year:
Angeles J. Placer, assistant professor of languages, received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Puerto Rico. Her master of arts degree and PhD are from Cornell University.
Ron Schie, associate professor of communication, received his bachelor of arts degree and master of fine arts degree in play writing and television production from Ohio University.
Rub?n Silvestry, visiting assistant professor in languages, has a bachelor of arts degree in geography from the Universidad Puerto Rico, a master of arts degree in Latin American Studies from San Diego State University and a PhD in Spanish literature from the University of Texas.
Donnell D. White, assistant professor of biology, holds bachelor of science and master of science degrees from SMSU and a PhD from Montana State University-Bozeman, in fish and wildlife management and research.
Shelley A. Wolbrink, assistant professor of history, holds a bachelor of arts degree in history from Miami University- Ohio, and a master of arts degree and PhD in history from the University of Cincinnati with emphases in medieval Europe, early modern Europe and comparative women's world history.
Thomas W. Zimmerer, professor and director of the Breech School of Business Administration, holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the American University, a master of science in economics from Louisiana State University, and a PhD in management from the University of Arkansas.
Adrianna Norris became a first-time business owner with the opening of Finley River Chiropractic; PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub launched its newest location; and Huey Magoo’s opened its second store in the Ozarks.
