Michael Murphy, Mercy Health Plans vice president of government programs, now leads the plan's operations in Springfield. Murphy will be responsible for Premier Health Plans and Premier Benefits Inc. These are two of the managed care divisions of of Mercy Health Plans. He will also continue managing the plan's government programs. He joined MHP in 1996 as vice president of government programs.
