The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the officers of its 1999 board of directors. The new board members are: Joseph W. Turner, president of Great Southern Bank, chairman of the board; Mary Kay Meek, of Meeks Building Centers, chairman-elect; Rob Fulp, of Commerce Bank, treasurer; Paul Reinert, of St. John's Health Systems, assistant treasurer; Kurt Hellweg, of American Dehydrated Foods, vice chairman of economic development; Judy Breeding, of Baird, Kurtz & Dobson, vice chairman of community development/special events; Steve Burch, of NationsBank-Bank of America, vice chairman of membership; and Steve Pope, of O'Reilly Auto Parts, vice chairman of public affairs.
