Dean DeHaven has joined the management team at the St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin as the executive director of human resources, hospitality and facilities. DeHaven has more than 20 years of related experience, most recently at St. Joseph Medical Center/CSJ Health System in Wichita, Kan. In his position with St. John's, DeHaven will be responsible for human resources, food service, environmental services, security, communications, plant operations, biomedical services, and facility planning.
Mark Tozzio has been named vice president of business and network development for St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. Tozzio has worked in the health care field for more than 20 years, most recently as the chief development and marketing officer for St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kan. His duties at St. John's include strategic planning, physician services and recruitment, Certificate of Need applications, new business development and regional network relations and development.
