Deborah Piland has joined the Midland Dairy Council as the director of nutrition education for the Springfield region. Piland has 13 years of experience, most recently serving as a nutrition consultant for area schools, hospitals, restaurants and nursing homes. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas A & M University, College Station. Piland's new duties will include implementing Midland's nutrition education programs in Springfield and surrounding areas.
