business development for Industrial Services Company. Bennett is in charge of marketing and human resources, and will be involved with sales for ISC. She has bachelor's degrees in public relations and English, and she is working on her master's degree at Drury College.
Kevin Asberry has joined Vatterott College as admissions coordinator. His responsibilities include providing career advising and information about the college to prospective students, and evaluating prospective students and recommending suitable applicants to the campus director for admission.
Teresa Blair has been named financial services manager at The Bank. Her responsibilities include deposit operations, cust-omer service and consumer lending at the Battlefield location. She has 20 years of banking experience and is a graduate of the MBA Retail Banking School and BAI Graduate School of Retail Banking.
Angie Davis has joined NationsBank Professional and Executive Banking Group as vice president. Davis provides customers a single point of access to the group's banking and investment services. She has been with the bank since 1993 and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Jill Hatfield was recently hired as a staff accountant at Kirkpatrick, Phillips & Miller, CPAs, PC. Hatfield has experience in the financial services industry and auditing. She received a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1993 from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Norman J. Simon, DO, has joined St. John's Physicians & Clinics at the Smith-Glynn-Callaway Medical Building. He relocated from Long Beach, Calif., where he was a rheumatology consultant with ProHealth Partners Medical Group. Simon received his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Pomona, Calif.
Mary Lou Thomas has been appointed director of social services at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation. She received her bachelor's degree from SMSU, worked for the Jasper County Division of Family Services for 10 years and has 17 years of long-term care experience.
Hong I. Tjoa, MD, cardiologist, has joined St. John's Cardiovascular Specialists. He came to Springfield from Lexington, Ky., where he was a staff cardiologist. Tjoa received his medical degree at Rutgers Medical School, New Brunswick, N.J., completed his internship at the University of Texas Medical School and his residency at Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas. His areas of interest are echocardiology, nuclear cardiology, peripheral vascular ultrasound and hypertension.
Marianne Jones has joined the design staff at Heritage House Interiors. She has 12 years of design experience and is a graduate of SMSU. She works with the latest in design trends.
Michelle Nahon Leonard has joined the law firm of Greene & Curtis LLP as an associate. Leonard was an assistant federal defender from the Western District of Missouri. She graduated from SMSU and the University of Tulsa College of Law.
Jim Nichols has been promoted to division manager of Auto-Magic Car Washes. He was previously vice president and area manager for Swisshelm Group Inc.
