Heather Dawn Kensinger, of Springfield, has been selected as an intern in the Missouri Baptist Convention public relations department. Her duties include writing and photography for news releases, convention publications and the Missouri Baptist Web site. Kensinger is a junior communications major at Missouri Baptist College-St. Louis.
Aaron Jernigan has been hired at Carl I. Brown Mortgage as a mortgage consultant. He has four years of experience in the mortgage industry. Jernigan received a bachelor of science degree in finance from SMSU.
Rebecca D. Carlson was recently hired at Kirkpatrick, Phillips & Miller, CPAs, PC, as a staff accountant. Carlson received her bachelor of science degree in accounting and business management from William Woods College in Fulton.
Camille B. Lockhart, CPA, has been promoted from manager to senior manager at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson, CPAs. Lockhart works with long-term care facilities and home health agencies, providing auditing and consulting services. She received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from SMSU.
Eddie C. Marmouget, CPA, was promoted from manager to senior manager at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson, CPAs. Marmouget provides auditing and consulting services for hospitals, assisting with Medicare and Medicaid consulting and cost-report preparation services. He has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from SMSU.
Jason L. Rader, CPA, was promoted from manager to senior manager at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson, CPAs. Rader provides account-ing, auditing, tax and consulting services for clients primarily in the financial services area. He oversees many of the financial statement audits and directors' examinations of financial institutions performed by the practice.
Sherry Bielinski has been added to Springfield 33's sales staff. She relocated to the station from Pasadena, Calif., where she was account executive with Pasadena Star-News.
Shawn Palmer has been hired as Springfield 33's news director. He comes to the station from the ABC affiliate in St. Joseph, where he was news director. Palmer has bachelor of science degrees in broadcast journalism and history from Southern Illinois at Carbondale.
Dennis Speck has been promoted to chief engineer at Springfield 33. He has been with the station for two years as a staff engineer. Speck's duties include ensuring compliance with Federal Communications Commission regulations and maintaining the station's transmitter site and studios. He has degrees in broadcast, film and electronics and has more than 17 years of experience in the television industry.
Melanie Earl has been hired as communications coordinator at the Convention & Visitors Bureau. She is responsible for promoting the sale of advertising. Earl received a degree in public relations at Drury College.
Kristin Kubitschek has been promoted to public relations manager at the Convention & Visitors Bureau. She will coordinate publicity for the bureau, its activities, and travel and tourism in the Springfield area.
Bryan L. Harding has been hired as vice president of marketing at the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau. Harding was the director of marketing communication for Entergy, and prior to that, he was account director at Ogilvy and Mather, a multinational advertising and communications organization. He graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor of science degree in advertising.
