Rhoda Clark, a veteran Court Appointed Special Advocates volunteer, has been named CASA's new executive director. She has worked directly with children who have entered the court system and has chaired the secretary and Mother's Day gift baskets fund raiser.
John Flowers, vice president for Union Planters Bank, is now the new loan officer for the bank's Republic Road branch. He is responsible for commercial, res-idential, personal and home equity spending. He has been with Union Planters for 10 years and has more than 26 years of banking experience.
Jeremiah Mee has been named supervisor at Whitlock, Selim & Keehn LLP. He will consult with clients regarding business and individual tax matters. He has more than six years of accounting experience and received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from SMSU.
Baird, Kurtz & Dobson, CPAs, has promoted W. Karl Baker, Robyn A. Devore, Carter M. Peters and Jon A. Unroe, CPAs, from supervisor to manager.
Baker, a member of BKD Health Care Group, works with clients in the home care and hospice industries. He has experience in Medicare and Medicaid reimburs-ement consulting, and supervising audit and cost report engagements. He received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Truman State University.
Devore provides auditing and consulting services for the real estate industry and has worked with real estate developers, including those with low-income housing tax credit properties. Devore received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and business administration from Drury College.
Peters provides auditing, tax and consulting services for financial institutions, manu-facturers and retailers, and assists with regulatory filings of the Securities Exchange Commission. Peters received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from SMSU.
Unroe provides auditing and Medicare and Medicaid reim-bursement con-sulting services for clients in the health care industry. Unroe received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from SMSU.
Kelly A. Trygg, MD, has joined St. John's Internal Medicine Group. Trygg was previously in practice at Dallas County Community Medical Center in Buffalo where she also served as the medical director for Colonial Springs Nursing Home. She received a medical degree in 1991 from the University of Kansas Medical Center-Kansas City, Kan., and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita.
Rob LeFaivre was recently added to the Springfield 33 KSPR-TV news department as a photographer. He joins the station from sister station KODE-TV in Joplin.
Tammy Leigh has rejoined the Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau as director of communications. She is responsible for promoting leisure travel, group tours and other events. She has more than 12 years of experience in marketing.
