Rita A. Baron has joined The Wischmeyer Architects as an architect intern. She is responsible for a variety of work on architectural projects from conception to completion. Before Wischmeyer, she was the owner of RK Unique Design Showroom, working on a number of projects in Las Vegas. She is a 1999 graduate of Drury College with a bachelor's degree in architecture.
Jeffrey S. Hindman, AIA, has joined The Wischmeyer Architects as project architect. He is responsible for client communication and all phases of design. Before Wischmeyer, he was an architect with Don Julian Builders in Kansas City. He is a 1989 graduate of Drury College with a bachelor of arts degree in architecture.
Delores Austin joined the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce in July as switchboard/information specialist. She is responsible for answering phones, meeting and greeting chamber guests, coordinating conference rooms, assisting prospective residents and more.
Ryan Mooney has been hired as economic development program coordinator with the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. His responsibilities include assisting customers in the Business Solutions Center and serving as staff liaison to the Transportation Committee. He will also help with economic development research. He has a degree in community planning and geography from SMSU and is a licensed real estate agent.
Bob Ingold has moved to the estate planning office at Southwest Baptist University, where he was formerly chief development officer. The move allows Ingold, an attorney, to devote more time to a growing private law practice while working with friends of SBU who want to put the university in their estate plans.
Tom Keltner has been hired as director of the physical plant at Evangel University. Keltner has been with Evangel since 1970, is certified with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for work in asbestos-related occupations and holds several trade licenses. He succeeds Charles Askew, who retired from the position after 25 years.
Carl Singer has been named vice president for development at Southwest Baptist University. Singer coordinates the university's $30 million Partners in Excellence Campaign and directs general development of annual fund programs. He also supervises the offices of gift planning, church and community relations, alumni relations, foundation development and public relations.
David D. Bodeen, EIT, has joined Zak-Heideman's civil engineering staff. He has been an associate engineer with the Springfield Public Works Department and spent four years with Mathews & Associates. He received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla in civil engineering in 1995.
Baird, Kurtz & Dobson CPAs recently hired two staff consultants. Thomas L. Bagley is a 1999 graduate of SMSU with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He previously was part of BKD's internship program.
Cyndy L. Elworth is a 1997 graduate of SMSU with a bachelor of science degree in accounting and received her master of accountancy degree in 1999.

Susan Gann has been promoted to lending officer at Liberty Bank. She worked for 10 years as a collector at Boatmen's/NationsBank and has been with Liberty for one year.
Vanessa Gil-more has been promoted to banking officer at Liberty Bank. She has more than 21 years of experience in loan admin-istration and has been with Liberty for more than two years.
