He provides tax planning and compliance services, primarily for clients in the health care, manufacturing and retail industries. He received a bachelor of science degree in accounting in 1997 from SMSU.

Shelley J. Marshall has been promoted from staff accountant to senior accountant at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson. She provides tax services, including the preparation of income tax returns for individuals and businesses. Marshall received a master's degree in accountancy in 1997 from SMSU.

Megan Murphy has been promoted to assistant vice president of Liberty Mortgage, a division of Liberty Bank. She has been with the bank since January 1998. Her responsibilities include real estate lending.

Kelly Porter has joined Liberty Mortgage as assistant vice president. Porter will work as a residential loan originator at Liberty Bank, 4021 S. Campbell.

Brian Rigsby recently joined Whitlock, Selim & Keehn LLP as manager of the firm's technology solutions group. He has more than 13 years of experience in information technology. Rigsby holds a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from Indiana University.

Jeffrey R. Roberts has been promoted from senior accountant to supervisor. He is a member of the company's retail and business services team and works with wholesale, retail and manufacturing clients, providing auditing and consulting services. Roberts received a bachelor of science degree in 1995 from SMSU.

Leslie D. Smith has been promoted from senior accountant to supervisor at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson. She provides auditing, Medicare/Medicaid reim-bursement consulting, cost report preparation services and managed care consulting services for long-term care facilities and medical practices. Smith holds a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and business administration from Drury College.

Rick Smith has joined Liberty Bank as assistant vice president. He will work in the Liberty Bank on East Primrose. Smith has more than 15 years of experience in real estate and lending.

Tim Swan has joined Liberty Bank as vice president of commercial lending. He has more than 25 years of experience in real estate finance and valuation.

Patricia "Pat" Sweeney has joined Commerce Bank's Investment Management Group as vice president and treasurer. She has more than 18 years of experience in banking, personal trust administration and probate. Sweeney holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Central Methodist College, Fayette.

Scott Tumlin has joined Liberty Bank as assistant vice president of loan administration. He has nine years of banking experience and holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from SMSU.
