Webster University has announced new instructors for the second fall term.
Don Anderson has joined Webster University as an instructor in the human resource management program. He is vice president for human resources at Cox Health Systems. Anderson has 27 years of experience in human resources management in the health-care setting. He is certified as a senior professional in human resources.
Dr. Richard Haymes has been hired as an instructor in the human resources development program at Webster University. He is director of consultation and liaison services at Burrell Behavioral Health. He will teach individual and group behavior courses. He received a PhD in consulting psychology from the University of Missouri.
Herb Kretz has been named instructor in the health services management program at Webster. He is a group administrator for six clinics within the St. John's Health Systems organization. He has 25 years of experience in management and administration with Sears, Roebuck and Co. He received an MBA from the University of Miami in 1962.
J.P. Morgan will teach in Webster University's master of management program. He has been a business consultant since 1993 and has conducted management seminars on finance, distribution and transportation management, production operations management, and procurement and acquisitions management. Morgan received an MBA from SMSU in 1983. He has been a Webster graduate programs instructor since 1990.
James Robertson has been named instructor in Webster University's master of business administration program. He is executive director of the Executive Institute. In that capacity he has worked with Springfield ReManufacturing Corporation and Drury College's Breech School of Business, and has a consulting client list. Robertson received a master of marketing degree from Central Missouri State University and has taught management and marketing courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Eric Shinault has been named an instructor in the master of business administration program. He works for City Utilities of Springfield as treasury administrator. He has more than 15 years of business experience in financial management. He previously worked for Terex Corporation, Hillshire Farms, Schneider National Inc. and taught at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
David Wilkie has joined Young & Company as a producer and writer. He is responsible for broadcast and Internet production. He will work with the agency's creative team to develop concepts and copy for various accounts. Wilkie has nine years of experience and won three first-place Missouri Broadcast Association awards while working for KYTV.
Teri Townsend has been named branch manager of the StaffMark Staffing Service, Springfield office. In her 4 1/2 years with StaffMark, Townsend has established experience in staffing operations, training and education. She received a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville.
Jana Perry Anderson has been promoted to comptroller at City Utilities, replacing Cliff Groover, who has retired. Anderson has been with CU since 1985. She has worked in the internal audit department and has held supervisory positions for CU's financial reporting, asset management, accounts payable, budgeting, project reporting and payroll. She received a bachelor of science degree in accounting at SMSU.
Elaine McDonald has been promoted to chief financial officer at City Utilities. She has been with CU for 23 years. McDonald received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from SMSU and is a certified management accountant. She has performed several duties during her career at CU, including annual budgeting, long-range financial planning and oversight of CU's investment portfolio.
Martin Penning has been named director of strategic planning for The Empire District Electric Company. He is responsible for loan research analysis, development of demand and energy, fuel and purchased power revenue forecasts, and financial projections. Penning has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He has been with Empire District Electric since 1980.[[In-content Ad]]
