Edward Wilhelms, AIA, has been promoted to principal for project development for the Farnsworth Wylie Group. He will work with the firm's health care and education clients. Wilhelms recently celebrated his 45th anniversary with The Wischmeyer Architects, a member of the Farnsworth Wylie Group.

Richard Walkenhorst, architect, has been promoted to fill the position of principal in charge of architectural operations at Farnsworth & Wylie Group, recently vacated by Edward Wilhelms. Walkenhorst will oversee the management and operations of the firm's six architectural offices. He joined the firm in February and has a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering and a bachelor's degree in environmental design.

Kristi Kittleson has been promoted from administrative assistant to the executive director to assistant director of Springfield Area Arts Council.

Beverly Coberly was recently named director of University Outreach and Extension's 16-county southwest region in Springfield. Coberly will provide leadership in the organization's educational programs and supervise a staff of more than 30. She began with UOE in 1980.

Alene Miller was recently hired as office manager and bookkeeper at Bright Construction Inc. She has a general business degree from Springfield College and worked for nine years at Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield.

Jeff Barber joined The Design Agency as a staff architect and project manager. He will manage project design and production. He has a master of architecture degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Tyler Peck has joined The Design Agency as intern architect. He is responsible for the development of projects from initial design through the construction phase. Peck received a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Kansas.

Danny Miller has joined The Design Agency as an intern architect specializing in design and production. He completed 55 credit hours at SMSU and has 11 years of experience in architecture, civil and structural engineering and surveying.

Johnathan W. Sproule has joined The Design Agency as an architectural technician. He is responsible for design and layout of structures and their documentation. He received a bachelor of science degree in architectural drafting and design and construction management from SMSU.

Judy Fick has joined The Design Agency as business administrator and marketing director. She received a bachelor of science degree in business and organizational communication from SMSU and has experience in sales and business administration.

Todd Carter was named sales manager at New Horizons Computer Learning Center. He is responsible for all sales activities, account executive staff leadership and management of sales financials. Carter has 15 years of experience in management and information technology and previously worked with FedEx.
