Dr. Sue Rollins has been named dean of the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies at Drury University. Rollins has been associate dean of the college and director of the continuing education department for more than 16 years.

Dr. Charles Taylor has been named associate dean of the college, a new position at Drury University. Taylor is an associate professor of communication at Drury.

Dr. Elizabeth Paddock has been named director of women's studies at Drury University. She will continue to serve as an associate professor of political science, as well.

Finance

Mike Lawson has joined The Bank as senior vice president. Lawson has 11 years of banking experience, most of which is in commercial lending. Lawson received his bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri and a master of business administration degree from Drury University.

Jennifer Handy has been promoted to assistant manager of Metropolitan National Bank at its South National location. Handy started with Metropolitan in July 1998 as a teller.

Kimberly Martin has been promoted to operations assistant at Metropolitan National Bank. She has been with the bank since August 1989. In her new position, Martin will oversee and coordinate many functions of the operations department and serve as liaison between staff and the operations director.

H. Michael Mattson has been promoted to senior vice president of Metropolitan National Bank. Mattson has 20 years of experience in banking, the last 13 as a commercial lender in the Springfield area. He began working for Metropolitan in July 1997. In addition to duties as a commercial lender, Mattson will serve on the bank's technology committee, its assets and liability committee, and will be involved with administrative and operational issues.

Gregory D. Daniels has been hired as representing agent for Igou & Bradley Investment & Insurance Services. Daniels is part of the Aetna Financial Service-authorized firm's expansion into property and casualty insurance. Daniels has 20 years of experience in sales, claims and field sales management.

George S. "Chip" Storey has been promoted to supervisor in the Springfield office of Baird, Kurtz & Dobson. Storey had been a senior accountant with the public accounting firm. Storey is a cum laude graduate of SMSU with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

M. Aaron Little has been promoted to consultant for Baird, Kurtz & Dobson. Little specializes in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting services for nursing homes and home health agencies. Little received his bachelor's degree in business administration from College of the Ozarks.

Jo Anne Thompson has been promoted to consultant for Baird, Kurtz & Dobson. Thompson provides Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting services in the long-term care industry, including billing and cost-report services. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from SMSU.

Andrea M. Cunningham has been promoted to senior consultant for Baird, Kurtz & Dobson. Cunning-ham is a cum laude graduate of SMSU with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She provides Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting services for long-term care facilities.

Law

Michael J. DeArmon has been elected to partnership in the law firm of Neale & Newman LLP. DeArmon practices law in the areas of business law and acquisitions, real estate and estate planning. DeArmon received his juris doctorate from the University of Tulsa.
