Banking

Terry Barksdale has been named to head Citizens National Bank's real estate department. Barksdale, assistant vice president for the bank, had handled real estate and consumer loans at Citizens National's South Campbell bank and will relocate with the new position to its South Glenstone location. Barksdale has been in banking for 15 years and holds an associate's degree in business administration.

Tammy Bau-richter has been promoted to vice president and controller of Great Southern Bank. Her duties include responsibility for the accounting functions of Great Southern Bancorp and its subsidiaries. Baurichter has been in banking for 22 years and has worked at Great Southern since 1996. Prior to the promotion, she was manager of the bank's accounting department. Baurichter graduated with a degree in finance from SMSU.

Alan J. Banta has been named assistant vice president and loan officer for the Nixa location of Metropolitan National Bank. Banta will be responsible for Metropolitan's commercial, real estate and consumer lending in the Christian County area. He has 16 years of experience in banking. Banta received his bachelor's degree in finance from SMSU.

Judy Pratt has been named assistant vice president and bank manager for the Nixa location of Metropolitan National Bank. She has 26 years of banking experience.

Carol Higgin-botham has been named bank manager for Metropolitan National Bank's South National location. Higgin-botham has 16 years of experience in bank operations, most recently as bank manager for Metropolitan's Glenstone bank.

Education

Nancy K. Lahmers has been named director of Webster University's Ozarks Regional Campus in Springfield. Lahmers has 23 years of experience as a business attorney and human resources manager. She received her bachelor's degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University, and her law degree from the University of Akron.

Eric Mutillo has been named an instructor for New Horizons Computer Learning Center. Mutillo will instruct courses in Microsoft, Corel, Lotus and the Internet, among other subjects. He is a Microsoft certified systems engineer. He worked previously for the Branson Daily News.

Manufacturing

Lindy M. "Buddy" Pilgrim has been named chief executive officer of Simmons Foods Inc. He has more than 30 years of experience in the poultry industry, including more than five years as president and chief operating officer. He also established Integrity Leadership Institute.

Liesa Boeding has been named district sales manager of Magic Glove & Safety Manufacturing Co. She graduated from SMSU with a bachelor's degree in communication, is a Qualified Safety Sales Professional and has 12 years of experience in the safety equipment industry.
