Blythe provides Medicare billing and electronic claims processing services for long-term care facilities. He will oversee the consulting segment of BKD's practice, which incorporates many services, including technology consulting and industry-specific services. Prior to joining BKD's Springfield administration office, he worked in the firm's practice office, where he supervised the consulting practice and provided clients with assistance in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and financing. Houston is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting. McDowell is an SMSU graduate withbachelor of science degree in accounting. He provides tax planning and preparation services for individuals and businesses, with an emphasis in tax services for the real estate industry. |bold_on|Timothy L. Follett, CPA, was named a firm-wide associate director of accounting and auditing in the administrative office. His responsibilities include providing technical support to BKD auditors, implementing new professional standards, reviewing audit engagements and assisting with peer reviews, internal office inspections and professional education. Follett previously worked as a supervisor in the audit department of BKD's Kansas City office.
