Thomas C. Highley was named vice president of Old Missouri National Bank. His responsibilites include heading up the retail banking department, which includes real estate and consumer loans as well as SBA loans to small businesses. Highley has more than 20 years of banking experience and most recently served as head of the secondary mortgage department at Citizens National Bank.
David W. Montgomery was promoted to assistant vice president of the Commercial Real Estate Lending Division at Commerce Bank. In that capacity, he is responsible for business development and customer service related to the bank's commercial real estate lending services. Montgomery has more than 10 years of experience in the financial service industry and was most recently a commercial lending officer with Commerce. He is a 1989 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and has completed several bank-related courses.
Employment
Debbie Petersen was named account development manager for Express Personnel Services in Springfield. Petersen joined Express in 1999 and has worked as a staffing supervisor for the firm. Prior to joining Express, she was program manager for Leadership Springfield at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
Gary Banner was promoted to general manager at AT&T Media Services. Banner had been general sales manager with the company since 1984 when he opened the office, formerly TeleCable Targeting and most recently TCI Media Services. Banner is responsible for local ad sales and production for 56 combined cable networks in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark and Branson. These markets serve 73,000 cable subscribers.
Retail
Trudy Twitty was hired by PaperWorld as director of outside sales. Twitty has 12 years of experience in customer service and sales. She will provide personal assistance to professional and business customers.
Tourism
Paula S. Anglen was hired by the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau as director of sales and tourism development. Most recently vice president of A Better Life Inc., a business consulting and management firm in Springfield, Anglen is also a former general manager of Ripley's Believe it or Not! Museum and has experience in sales, operations and management at the Yellow Ribbon Music Theatre and Comrade Entertainment.
Evie Daughtrey and Marilyn Latimer were hired by Uniglobe Emerald World Travel. Daughtrey is a native of Greece and has four years of corporate experience. Latimer has four years of travel experience.
Utilities
Randy Stewart was promoted to supervisor of financial information systems in the accounting and finance division at Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. headquarters in Springfield. Stewart is responsible for coordinating the operating and capital budgets with staff at all locations. Stewart joined AECI in June 1983 an an accountant. He was promoted to accountant III in 1989 and to senior accountant in 1992.
