B. Arthur Erickson announced his retirement after 33 years with Evangel University. A professor of chemistry, Erickson was a member of the university's science and technology faculty. He also served as director of records and registration for seven years and chairman of the science and technology department for five years. He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he earned a bachelor of science, master of science and PhD degrees.
Webster University announced four new faculty at the Ozarks regional campus.
Gary Gibson will teach compensation management for the university's master of arts program in human resources management. Gibson is president and owner of Gibson and Associates and is a member of Springfield City Council.
Robert J. Grant joined the university's adjunct faculty. Grant is career coordinator at Southwest Missouri State University, where he facilitates job development and student placement, and conducts seminars and workshops. He will teach career development for Webster University's evening master of arts program in human resources.
Evelyn Honea will teach systems analysis, design and implementation for the university's master of arts program in computer resources and information management. Honea is director of the city of Springfield Information Systems Department, where she supervises computer programmers and system analysts.
David Karr, assistant director of marketing and sales for Conco Companies, joined Webster University's adjunct faculty. He will teach current economic analysis in the master of business administration program, where he will apply his experience in product development and launching, project analysis and pricing.

Central Bank in Lebanon announced three promotions.
E. Kim Light has been named president of Central Bank. Most recently executive vice president, Light has been with the bank for 21 years.
Patrick McGinnis and Jan Delcour were named executive vice presidents. McGinnis, formerly senior vice president, has been at Central Bank for more than 18 years as a loan officer. Delcour has been at Central Bank for almost 15 years in several key positions, most recently operations officer and senior vice president.
Max Conroy joined Mid-Missouri Mortgage Company as vice president. His responsibilities include managing and training the production staff. Conroy previously managed real estate production for a bank and mortgage company in Grand Island, Neb. He has more than 20 years of management experience in the mortgage industry.
Katie McCroskey was named manager and senior underwriter of the transportation department of MJ Kelly Company, a Springfield-based insurance brokerage firm. McCroskey has more than 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in transportation for more than 16 years. She holds a CPCU designation and was previously with Rebsamen Insurance.
Patricia Ann Moore, CPA, was admitted as a shareholder in the firm of Roberts, McKenzie, Mangan & Cummings PC. Moore specializes in taxation, estate planning and small business accounting and consulting.
Timothy M. Reese was named senior vice president - investments with A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc. Reese holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Drury University and has been an investment broker for 16 years. He was promoted to assistant branch manager for the Springfield office in 2000.
