Banking

Thomas C. Highley was promoted to senior vice president and compliance officer at Old Missouri National Bank. His duties include all aspects of commercial, real estate, Small Business Administration and retail lending. He also is in charge of the loan operation department and is the bank's compliance officer. Highley has 24 years of experience in the banking industry.

Baseball

Jason Thompson has re-signed to play as an outfielder for the Springfield-Ozark Mountain Ducks. He played 96 games last season, batting .288 with 14 home runs and 63 runs batted in. Thompson played ball at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, and was signed by the Ducks at a tryout camp in 1999. This will be Thompson's fourth season with the Ducks.

Terence Green has re-signed to play infield for the Springfield-Ozark Mountain Ducks. He played 77 games last year and batted .212 with four home runs and 21 runs batted in. Green played baseball at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas, before signing on with the Ducks during the 2000 season. This is his third season with the Ducks.

Golf

Chris Haase joined Deer Lake Golf Course as assistant golf course superintendent. He previously worked at Twin Oaks Country Club for nearly five years. Haase received his bachelor of science degree in agronomy from Southwest Missouri State University in December 2001, and he is a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.

Health Care

Shawn Harris was promoted to the position of controller for St. John's Health System. His responsibilities include direct oversight for payroll, accounts payable and accounting for the Consolidated Services Center. Harris has worked in the hospital's accounting and finance department since 1997 and was previously its director of accounting.

Mickey Moore joined St. John's Foundation for Community Health as development director. In this position Moore leads program development and fund-raising efforts for the foundation. Moore previously served as the director of business operations for St. John's Medical Research Group. He finished his undergraduate degree at Drury Univer-sity in 1995 and will complete an MBA at Drury this summer.

Bob Norton has accepted the position of construction and facilities administrator for St. John's Health System. He assists in construction efforts on the hospital's main campus for its five-year Master Sites and Facilities Plan. Norton has worked for the hospital since July 2000 as director of maintenance and engineering and has previous experience as a design engineer. He holds a degree in industrial technology and mechanical design/management from Southwest Missouri State University.

Shelly Willoughby was promoted to senior financial analyst at St. John's Health System from her previous financial analyst position. Her duties now include the compilation of the health system's monthly financial statements and statistical reporting. She has been an employee of St. John's since 1994.

Insurance

Tammy Moody joined Barker Phillips Jackson Insur-ance as an administrative assistant in the firm's Springfield office. She will provide administrative support to the personal and commercial lines divisions at BPJ. She is a 2001 graduate of Parkview High School.
