Cari L. Shaw, a graduate of Kickapoo High School with five years of hospitality and managerial experience, was appointed office manager of H Design Group LLC. Her responsibilities include accounting and administrative tasks related to the architectural field. Shaw is currently working toward a degree in business management.
Bryan D. Ragsdale is a project architect and member of H Design Group. He is a graduate of Kansas State University. Ragsdale has more than 15 years of experience in technical and project management.
Butler, Rosenbury and Partners announced additions to their staff.
Anthony Miller joined the staff as a drafting technician. Miller brings more than eight years experience to his position.
Crystal Craver joined the staff as a receptionist. Craver is a sophomore at Southwest Missouri State University, majoring in biology. Her experience includes four years of secretarial work at an area hospital.
Jeffery S. Smith joined the staff as an intern architect. Smith received his bachelor's degree in architecture from the College of Architecture and Design at Kansas State University. Smith has six years of experience and is currently working of projects for Springfield Underground and Embassy Suites.
Communication
Don Paul joined the staff of Branson's Hometown Radio: KRZK, KOMC and KOMC AM. He will serve as news director and program director for the three stations. Paul began his career in radio in Canandaigua, N.Y. in 1963 and moved to the Ozarks after working in radio in Rochester, N.Y., and Philadelphia. Between 1972 and 1999 he served as corporate program manager for Great Empire Broadcasting in Springfield, Wichita, Kan., Omaha, Neb., Tulsa, Okla., Shreveport, La., and Denver.
Josef L. Lundquist joined The Gatekeeper's Safety Services as senior communications consultant of its new division, telephone equipment sales and service. Lundquist brings with him more than 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Chris Pedersen joined Alltel as an account executive. Pedersen will be responsible for creating bundled wireless and wireline communications solutions for Springfield area customers. Pedersen has more than 11 years of experience in telecommunications. He graduated from the Oklahoma State School of Technology and Missouri Southern State College.
Community
Calvin Meeds is the new general construction superintendent at Habitat for Humanity of Springfield. He is responsible for supervising all phases of construction of Habitat homes. Meeds has a master's degree in psychology and counseling. He has worked in the construction business for many years, and has worked with several nonprofit organizations.
