The Farnsworth Group announced two staff additions at the firm's Springfield office. Bruce Emeric and Thomas Laskaris joined the firm as project architects. Emeric has more than 13 years of experience working with clients in the education, retail and hospitality industries. Laskaris has more than 17 years of experience working with retail clients, theme parks and commercial projects.
Education
Jim Rogers joined the adjunct faculty of Webster University. Rogers is the vice president and general manager of Litton Interconnect Technologies. He will teach operations and project management during Webster's spring 2001 term.
Southwest Missouri State University honored 18 retiring faculty members. The faculty members and the departments in which they worked are as follows:

Finance
Mid-Missouri Mortgage Company announced four staff additions.
Kathleen Nelson joined the company as a loan officer. She has 15 years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending. In her new position, Nelson is responsible for all aspects of mortgage loan origination.
Brenda Chism joined Mid-Missouri Mortgage Company as a loan processor. Chism has 19 years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending. Her new duties include all aspects of processing mortgage loan applications.
Brent Woody joined the company as a loan officer. Previously, Woody worked for North American Savings, and he has 17 years of experience in mortgage lending. In his new position, Woody will work with current and prospective home owners to arrange mortgage financing.
Lisa A. Taber joined Mid-Missouri Mortgage Company as a loan closer. Taber has 17 years of experience in banking and lending, and she previously worked for Community Financial Credit Union. Her new responsibilities include the preparation of mortgage loan closing documents and involvement in the post-closing process.
