Prior to joining Great Southern, he was vice president of construction and commercial loans for Polk County Bank. |bold_on|Debra Perry also joined the bank as an assistant vice president of commercial lending. She has more than five years of experience in commercial lending, and she worked for Metropolitan Bank as a credit review analyst prior to her new position. |bold_on|John Farthing was promoted to first vice president of investments for Stifel, Nicolaus & Company Inc. Farthing has been with the company since 1988. He began as an investment executive, and became a certified investment management consultant in 1997. Farthing specializes in managed assets and municipal bond portfolios.|ret||ret||tab|

|bold_on|Carolyn Hoffman was promoted to second vice president of investments at Salo-mon Smith Bar-ney. She has been with the company for three years. Hoffman is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia and Drury College. She works with individuals and business clients to help them reach their financial goals. |ret||ret||tab|

|bold_on|Sherry L. Furstenberg was promoted to assistant vice president and credit manager for Commerce Bank. She has more than 20 years of experience with Commerce Bank, serving as a credit analyst prior to her promotion.
