Officer Kevin D. Houseman joined the Springfield-Branson Regional Air-port Police. Houseman served four years in the U.S. Navy working on F-18 fighter jet electronics. He also worked on F-15 fighter jet electronics for McDonnell Douglas. Houseman completed training at the St. Charles Police Academy, and worked as a police officer in Nixa prior to his new position.
Banking/Finance
Metropolitan National Bank an-nounced two staff additions.
Brad McCammon joined the bank as a vice president. He previously was a vice president with Commercial Federal Bank, where he'd worked since 1994. In his new position with Metropolitan, Mc-Cammon will specialize in construction and commercial lending from his office at the bank's Nixa location.
Carol Wheeler joined Metropolitan National Bank as a loan assistant. Wheeler also previously worked for Commercial Federal Bank. She also will work from the bank's Nixa location.
Commerce Bank an-nounced a staff promotion and a staff addition.
Pamala Chambers was promoted to vice president of Commerce's retail branch operations. She has been with Commerce Bank for 23 years, serving as assistant vice president teller operations prior to her promotion.
Sharon Elliott-Miller joined Commerce Bank's medical and private banking division. Elliott-Miller is a graduate of Drury University. She previously worked for Firstar, and she has seven years of banking experience. In her new position, she provides timely and flexible personal banking services to professional and executive clients.
Community
Debora Biggs joined Safety Council of the Ozarks as executive director. Biggs, a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, previously served as director of the Traffic Safety Alliance of the Ozarks. In her new position, she oversees all aspects of the council, including operations, program development, membership and fund raising.
Retirement Communities
Parkmoor at The Gardens an-nounced its founding management staff.
Kris Addison is the marketing coordinator. Addison previously was the research director for KOLR 10 and FOX 27 television.
Glen Hicks is the dining manager and executive chef, joining Parkmoor following employment as the general manager of the West Plains Country Club.
Michael McConeghy is the hospitality manager. Previously, McConeghy was banquet manager at Highland Springs Country Club.
Kelly Morrison is the general manager. Morrison previously was the leasing director for The Montclair.
Jenny Ogan is the resident activities director. She previously was resident services director for Grand Court II in Las Vegas.
Carol Robertson is Parkmoor's housekeeping director. Robertson previously was housekeeping assistant at The Montclair.
Symphony
Carlana Fitch was named the new executive director of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra Association. Fitch comes to Springfield from the Symphony Orchestra in Lincoln, Neb. She has management experience with the Symphony Orchestra in Wichita Falls, Texas, and the Philharmonic Orchestra in Lawton, Okla.
