Kimberly Slade was named director of sales for the American National Fish and Wildlife Museum Wonders of Wildlife. As a member of the senior management team, Slade is responsible for managing and developing an effective sales program that includes managerial oversight of general admission ticket sales, group tours, facility rentals and museum memberships. Slade has more than 20 years of experience in senior level sales and management positions, most recently with Disney Direct Marketing in Shawnee Mission, Kan. Slade holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial distribution from Clarkson University.
Banking
Great Southern Bank has added two new staff members.
Brad Heeren and Melanie Robbins joined Great Southern as corporate services representatives. Their responsibilities include developing new corporate business, as well as servicing existing corporate customers to ensure that their needs are being met through new bank products and/or services. Prior to joining Great Southern, Heeren worked nine years at Edward Jones Investments. Robbins has worked at several different Spring-field financial institutions in a variety of positions, most recently as a financial services representative specializing in personal banking.
Financial Services
Brian D. Todd, CPA, was promoted from staff accountant to senior accountant for the Springfield office of BKD LLP.
Todd, a member of the firm's tax services department, provides tax planning and preparation services for a wide range of clients, including corporations, partnerships and individuals. He also provides tax services for nursing facilities. He is a 1999 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a master's degree in accounting.
Manufacturing
EFCO Corporation, a national manufacturer of architectural windows and framing systems in Monett, announced two promotions.
Larry W. Eden was promoted to chief information officer for EFCO. Eden's responsibilities include telecommunication and network services, computer services,
e-business and application development.
He has been with the company since 1997 serving as information technology director. Eden holds a bachelor of science degree in computer information science from Missouri Southern State College and a master of science degree in computer information systems from SMSU.
Dean Orem was promoted to vice president of human resources for EFCO.
Orem is a graduate of the University of Mis-souri-Columbia with a degree in Human Re-source Management. Before joining EFCO in 1999 as Director of Human Resources, Orem held a variety of positions in both manufacturing and Human Resources, most recently with Schreiber Foods Inc.
