Education
John Credille was named registrar for Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees at SBU, and he has been employed with the school since March 1979. He previously served the school as collection manager, assistant director of financial aid, associate director of financial assistance and scholarship coordinator.
Students in Free Enterprise announced three staff changes.
Tanja Heinen was named SIFE's vice president of development. She joined the organization in January as a certified fund-raising executive. In her new position, she is responsible for raising major gift funds for SIFE.
Bruce A. Nasby was named senior vice president of SIFE Global. he is responsible for training and supervising SIFE managing directors and country presidents, as well as coordinating connections of SIFE donor companies. Nasby also engages U.S. SIFE teams and Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellows, who are faculty advisers, in building SIFE on campuses in other countries. Nasby joined SIFE in 1998 as a senior vice president.
Jack Wootton was named vice president of development and career services. He has 25 years of experience in sales and human resources, having joined SIFE in January as vice president of development. In his new position, Wootton leads the development department's fund-raising efforts and the expansion of SIFE's career services for students and alumni.
The Management Development Insti-tute, a division of Southwest Missouri State University's College of Business Administration, announced three staff changes.
Marilyn Martin was promoted to assistant director of MDI. She has been with MDI for five years as training and development manager. In her new position, she coordinated marketing and publicity, and she oversees scheduling and delivery of all seminars.
Eric Lane joined the MDI staff as training and development manager for on-site programming. He will work with businesses to develop and deliver training programs for their employees.
Stacey Trewatha-Bach joined MDI as the training and development manager for special projects. She has more than four years of experience in program development. In her position, she develops programs and coordinate special events such as Breakfast with Champions and the "Lessons in Leadership" worldwide conference.
Finance
Whitlock, Selim & Keehn LLP announced three staff additions and a promotion.
Melissa Honey and Av-ery Hudson joined the firm as staff accountants. Honey holds bachelor of arts degrees in accounting and business administration from Drury Univers-ity. Prior to joining WSK, she was a staff accountant at another local firm. She previously was an audit assistant and staff auditor with the Missouri State Auditor's office. Hudson has experience as a lead teller with Mercantile Bank in Joplin and SunTrust Bank in Punta Gorda, Fla. Prior to joining WSK, she was a staff accountant in Neosho.
Jill Moger was promoted from staff accountant to senior accountant. She joined WSK in January 2000, performing audits and tax preparation duties. Specifically, she specializes in audits of financial institutions.
Nicole Tausz joined Whitlock, Selim & Keen as a supervisor. She has financial management and audit experience from her previous work with Tek-tronix Inc. in Portland, Ore. Prior to joining WSK, Tausz was director of fi-nancial services for Pac-Med Clinics in Seattle.
Real Estate
Alisa Davis joined McLoud & Company as a salesperson and leasing agent for commercial real estate. Davis has 16 years of experience in several aspects of the real estate industry. She previously worked in Phoenix, where she was involved with the development, construction, management and leasing of 1.2 million square feet of industrial, office and retail property.
Walt Nelson, PhD, joined Roy Group Realtors as a broker/trainer. Nelson earned his PhD in real estate and finance from Georgia State University. He teaches MBA courses in banking and commodities, and undergraduate courses in real estate, property development and corporate finance at Southwest Missouri State University.
