Mahen was in the ophthalmology industry for 10 years with a background of experience in business management, refractive surgery centers, opticals, recruitment and clinical training. Jennifer Meyer joins the Medical Consulting Group as the director of client services. Meyer's background includes ex-perience in sales and marketing, business management and recruiting. Michael Kapoulis joined the staff of the Residence Inn Springfield as general manager. Ka-poulis has served as general manager for the Hampton Inn & Suites in Springdale, Ark., and the Courtyard by Marriott in Springfield.|ret||ret||tab|
Cindy Reed joined the Residence Inn Springfield as director of sales. Reed has been with John Q. Brian Sims joined Courtyard by Marriott at the Springfield Airport as general manager. Sims came to Courtyard by Marriott from the Em-bassy Suites in Charleston, W. Va., where he served as assistant general manager of rooms. In addition to managing the hotel, Sims also has responsibility as manager of "The Cafe," a restaurant located on the property of the Courtyard.
