Larry D. Skouby has joined Old Missouri National Bank as assistant vice president and compliance officer. His duties include all aspects of commercial, real estate and retail lending, in addition to handling compliance issues.
Skouby has been a mortgage-lending consultant for 12 years and in the banking industry for 25 years. He also has taught classes for the Institute of Financial Education.
Bill Jester has been appointed to the advisory board of directors of First National Bank of Springfield. He is a past vice president of Southwest Baptist Uni-versity and the founder and president of Resource Development Inc., a 24-year-old company serving nonprofit organizations through the United States and Canada.
Jester, the owner of Jester Capital Management LLC, has a variety of local real estate holdings, including George-town Square I and II, Town & Country Center and French Quarter Plaza.
Debbie Jatho has been promoted to financial services manager of Commerce Bank. She will work at the SMS Banking Center in Plaster Student Union on the Southwest Missouri State University campus. Her duties include managing retail sale and customer service.
Jatho has 11 years of banking experience in banking and previously was a teller supervisor for Commerce.
Community Services
Boys & Girls Town of Missouri announced two promotions and four staff additions who will be serving the organization's Springfield campus.
Mike Orlando was promoted to vice president of human resources. His focus is on hiring and training. He has a bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Stephanie Wilhelm was promoted to director of community services. She is responsible for assessing the needs of future programs. She has a master of education in general counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Cindy Burks is the new vice president of treatment and is responsible for coordinating programs for all four campuses. She previously worked as assistant Jackson County Family Services administrator in Kansas City for the Missouri Division of Family Services.
She has a masters of social work degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Phillury Platte was hired as vice president of institutional advancement. She will focus on communications and fund-raising efforts.
She has five years' experience as the director of development for the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She has a masters in psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.
Denise LaHay was hired as director of communications. She is responsible for public relations activities to promote programs and statewide facilities. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism and advertising/public relations from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Barry Johnson was hired as coordinator of research and development. He analyses current data and build new tracking systems for reporting on children and families served by Boys & Girls Town.
He has a master's degree in social work from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
