BKD LLP has announced several staff changes.

Jeffrey R. Roberts and George S. "Chip" Storey, CPAs, were promoted from supervisors to managers at BKD LLP.

Roberts is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University. Roberts works with manufacturers, distributors and not-for-profit organizations providing assurance and consulting services.

Storey is a member of BKD's WealthPlan services team. He also is a graduate of SMSU. Storey provides tax planning and preparation services for corporations, partnerships, not-for-profit organizations and individuals.

Bradley K. Brotherton and William W. Ladd, CPAs, were promoted from senior accountants to supervisors with BKD LLP.

Brotherton, a graduate of Southwest Baptist University, is a member of BKD Health Care Group. He provides Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting, and audit and cost report preparation for hospitals and health care providers.

Ladd, an SMSU graduate, provides audit and consulting services for the real estate industry and employee benefit plans.

Health Care

Steve Johnson, MS, LPC, was named the executive director of the Ozarks Counseling Center. He has more than 20 years of experience in the counseling field, and he has been with the agency for six years.

Lodging

Myer Hotels announced several staffing changes.

Steve Graber was promoted to general manager of the new Comfort Inn & Suites in Branson. He previously was at the Best Western Music Capital Inn. Graber has 22 years of hotel experience.

Joseph Sharp was promoted to general manager of the Best Western Music Capital Inn, where he previously served as assistant manager. Sharp has been with the company for three years.

Sue Gordy was promoted to assistant manager of the Best Western Music Capital Inn. She previously served at Best Western Center Pointe Inn.

John Holloway has joined Myer Hotels' management team as an assistant manager at the Best Western Music Capital Inn. His previous experience includes time with Silver Dollar City. He also ran a Branson-area pizza company.

Kathy Baltajy has joined Myer Hotels as director of sales. She previously worked in the resort industry in Lake of the Ozarks and the Orlando, Fla., area.

Jeannie Peninger has joined Myer Hotels' sales and marketing team as a sales and marketing assistant. Peninger has more than seven years of experience in the lodging industry.

Office Equipment

Brian Peltier was appointed general manager of Corporate Business Systems. Peltier previously held management positions with Modern Business Systems, now known as IKON. He also served as district sales manager for Boise Cascade Company and Manhattan Supply Company, where he managed a team of sales representatives and left the company as MSC's top manager in the nation.
