The Victim Center announced a staff promotion and an addition.
Patty Moore was promoted to clinical director of The Victim Center. She previously served the center as an adult therapist. Prior to joining The Victim Center, Moore worked in research for Stanford University and for the Office of Naval Research. She also maintained a private psychotherapy practice in Palo Alto, Calif. Moore is a licensed professional counselor.
Lisa Ellsworth joined The Victim Center as an adult therapist. She holds a bachelor's degree in justice systems from Truman State University and a master's degree in social work from Southwest Missouri State University. She served as an intern and a victim advocate at the center before joining the staff.
Education
College of the Ozarks announced several staff additions.
Michelle Weisman joined the school's staff as assistant professor of English, teaching American literature, creative writing and Composition I.
Annette Lemons joined the school as assistant professor of foreign language, teaching elementary Spanish and Spanish review.
Autumn Moody joined the school as assistant professor of business and management.
Stacy McNeill, a C of O graduate, joined the staff as an assistant professor of speech communication.
Engineering
ESC Inc. Engineers and Architects announced the addition of two staff members. David Grossen, PE, has experience in electrical engineering and PLC automation control. Joe Toth has several years of experience in commercial electrical engineering design.
Finance
Dan J. Cannefax has joined Mid-Missouri Bank in the newly created position of vice president and cashier. Cannefax, a certified public accountant, has 13 years of accounting experience; 10 of those were spent in bank accounting. In his new position, he is responsible for internal and external financial reporting and analysis, management of application balancing and general ledger reconciliation. He also coordinates and administers FedLine operations, accounts payable and payroll.
Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc. announced two staff appointments.
Trisha Haugen was appointed branch manager of the location at 1102 N. Massey Blvd. in Nixa. She has been with Guaranty Federal for more than six years, beginning as a teller. Juanita Lee was appointed branch manager of the facility at 2843 E. Sunshine St. Lee has three years of banking experience and she holds a bachelor's degree from Drury University.
Marketing
Janelle Durington was named executive director of Springfield's Best Inc. She previously served as operations director of Springfield's Best for two years and holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and management from Missouri Southern State College.
