Architecture
Andrea Ellwood joined Butler, Rosen-bury & Partners Inc. as an intern architect in the retail and entertainment studio. She assists in design. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in architecture. Prior to joining Butler, Rosenbury & Partners, she worked with a Tulsa, Okla., architecture firm for four years.
Education
Vatterott College announced two staff additions.
Judy Wingate was named director of career services at Vatterott's Springfield campus. She is responsible for assisting graduate students in job placement and job development. Prior to joining Vatterott, Wingate was the public relations representative for Columbia Hospital. She has a bachelor of science degree from Mississippi State University and a master of education degree from the University of Arkansas.
Tiffany Brown also joined the staff at the Springfield Vatterott campus, primarily in the role of assisting the director of career services in placement of past and current graduates in jobs in their fields of study. She also offers students guidance in resume preparation, job search strategies, interviewing skills and etiquette in the business world. Brown has four years of experience in career planning and placement at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, where she completed her undergraduate studies.
Engineering
Jerry L. Day, PLS, joined Scott Consulting Engineers PC as head of the survey department. He has more than 40 years of experience in engineering and surveying with local firms. In addition to field duties, Day is responsible for processing of field data, survey calculations, training, scheduling of crews and supervision of all survey projects at the company.
Environmental services
Environmental Works Inc. announced two staff additions.
Ben J. Francka joined the company as senior geologist. He is a registered geologist in several states including Missouri, and he has more than 20 years of professional experience in environmental consulting and the petroleum industry.
Liz Ardell joined the company as associate environmental scientist. She previously worked with the firm Booz, Allen & Hamilton of Washington, D.C., where she worked with the U.S. Department of Energy on the radioactive waste repository project at Yucca Mountain, Nev.
Finance
Shelley Greening, CPA, with Dunton & Associates LLC, was promoted from supervisor accountant to manager accountant with the firm. She is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. She has more than 11 years of public accounting experience and more than eight years of private accounting experience. Her focus is accounting services, including software consulting and training.
Law
Jeffrey C. Goodnight joined the law firm of Neale & Newman LLP as an associate. He earned his law degree at the University of Arkansas and did his undergraduate work at Oklahoma State University. During law school, he served as law clerk with firms in Fayetteville, Ark., and Joplin.
Service
Robert Heydenreich, service technician for Lipscomb Mitsubishi, earned master technician certification for the fifth consecutive year of Mitsubishi Motors' DiamondPro Program. To qualify, he met strict criteria for advanced product knowledge and technical skills as determined by factory training courses and regular service
