She is a recent graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business. She also has completed real estate appraisal education requirements from Lifetime Learning.
Education
Michael C. Eagle has joined Vatterott College as a computer technology instructor. He has worked in the technology field for 11 years and has experience in computer networking, server maintenance and graphic arts. In his position at Vatterott, he instructs students in several topics, including Cisco Routing, Server 2000 and Exchange Server 2000, in preparation for their certification testing.
Finance
The Springfield office of BKD Financial LLC announced a staff promotion and an addition.
Patrick M. Hayes was promoted to vice president. Hayes joined BKD Financial in 1999. He previously worked in the finance department at Tracker Marine and served in the U.S. Navy. He is a magna cum laude graduate of SMSU with a bachelor of science degree in finance. At BKD Financial, Hayes manages mergers and acquisitions, company divestitures, and debt and equity financing engagements.
Jason A. Corson joined BKD Financial as a financial analyst. He is a 2002 summa cum laude graduate of SMSU with a bachelor of science degree in finance. He is scheduled to complete his masters of business administration degree in December 2003.
Home Dcor
Decorize Inc., a provider of direct sourcing solutions for the global home dcor market, has announced a staff promotion and an addition.
James Hoenshell was promoted to director of operations. He joined the organization in 2001 and served as the director of operations for Decorize's GuildMaster brand. He has 20 years of experience in operations management, working for Levi Strauss & Co. and Leggett & Platt.
Decorize also announced the addition of Eric Wu to the staff. Wu is the general manager for China, and he is responsible for building an organization in China that ensures product quality and supplier compliance that meets Decorize's standards. Wu has 20 years of experience in import and export business in the Far East. He will live in China and supervise a staff of 12.
Marketing
Dennis Marsh has joined The Newkirk Agency as director of new business development. He has several years of sales experience related to the packaging and advertising industries on both the local and regional levels. He previously held management positions at Sweetheart Cup Company's Springfield facility as creative director in the graphic services department. Prior to his new position, he worked as an account executive with LPG/Love Box Company, covering a four-state territory. With The Newkirk Agency, Marsh is responsible for furthering the agency's position in regard to creative print advertising materials and enhancing the agency's position in broadcast media and packaging design.
Greg McCord has joined EDCO The Document People as a health care specialist. He has more than 20 years of experience in the sales industry. For the past 10 years, he has been a consistent sales leader and has received awards for customer service from two state health information management associations. With EDCO, a document management company specializing in hospital medical records, McCord initially will carry the company's consultative approach to customers in Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland and the Washington, D.C., area.
