Commerce Bank announced two staff additions. Tony DiTrolio and Suzanne Michael have joined Commerce as assistant vice presidents in the residential lending division. As assistant vice presidents in residential lending, DiTrolio and Michael are responsible for business development and customer service related to Commerce's full line of mortgage loan products.

DiTrolio has 17 years of experience in sales and business. Prior to joining Commerce, he was a mortgage lender for the Springfield division of a national mortgage company franchise.

Michael has 12 years of experience in lending and financial services, including previously serving as a branch manager with Commerce in Ozark and Cape Girardeau.

First National Bank announced four employees for its new Willard branch.

Kendall Cook is the branch's president. He joined First National Bank in February, with 10 years of banking experience. He is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in business and administration. Cook also attended MBA Commercial Lending School.

Missy Baumgartner is vice president at the Willard branch. She is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business. With the bank, Baumgartner handles real estate, consumer, commercial and agricultural loans.

Myron Medlin is assistant vice president and loan officer for the branch. Medlin earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Memphis, and has 10 years of experience in finance and management.

Kathy Roberts, who joined First National Bank in 1997 after teaching in Mt. Vernon and Berryville, Ark., is assistant cashier at the Willard Branch.

Health care

Ferrell-Duncan announced the addition of two physicians.

Michael M. Harl, MD, joined Ferrell-Duncan's plastic surgery department. He attended medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin and Emory University. Harl completed fellowships at The University of Hawaii and Vanderbilt University. He has been a ring physician for USA Boxing since 1993. Harl is board certified in surgery and critical care by the American Board of Surgery and he has special expertise in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.

Edward G. Behrens, MD, PhD, has joined Ferrell-Duncan's ear, nose and throat department. He attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. He completed his internship at the Medical University of South Carolina and offers special expertise in head and neck surgery.
