Dennis J. Martinez joined Northwes-tern Mutual Financial Network, The Yaktine Financial Group as a financial representative.

In his new position, Martinez provides guidance and solutions for a variety of financial needs. His previous experience includes the position of national sales manager with Tracker Marine Group. He earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Southwest Missouri State University.

Crystal N. White joined Kirkpatrick, Phillips & Miller CPAs PC as a staff accountant. She assists with general tax, audit and accounting engagements. She graduated from Drury University with a bachelor of arts in accounting and business administration.

Jeff Engelman joined Liberty Investment Services, a subsidiary of Liberty Bancshares, as a financial advisor. Prior to joining the company, Engelman was a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments. He earned a finance degree from the University of Nebraska.

Lisa Estes was promoted to mortgage loan originator at the East Sunshine Street branch of Liberty Bank. She holds a degree in economics from SMSU.

Community Financial Credit Union announced five staff changes.

Carey Highley was promoted to assistance vice president of financial services at the Tampa Street branch. She has been with the company for eight years and has 15 years of experience in banking. She earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Northeast Missouri State University.

Connie Campbell was named branch manager of the Walnut Lawn branch. She joined the company in 1982 and previously served as vice president of financial services.

Lorena Brady was named operations manager. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. Prior to joining Community Financial Credit Union, she was with Kelly Tyler Federal Credit Union in Tyler, Texas.

Marilyn Martin joined the company as financial services officer. Prior experience includes working with financial institutions in New York, California and, most recently, Monett.

Shana Jahnke was named assistant branch manager of the Walnut Lawn branch. She joined the company in 1993 and has served as card services officer and loan assistant/VISA coordinator.

Mid-Missouri Mortgage Company announced the promotion of two associates.

Lois Kreider was appointed executive vice president. She has been with the company since it opened in 1999 and has 33 years' experience in construction, land development and mortgage banking.

Tim Melton was promoted to assistant vice president. He has 12 years of experience in banking and mortgage lending, and has been with the company since it opened in 1999.

Government

Bev Long was appointed interim director of the children's services program in the Greene County Division of Family Services office. Long will complete a review of the policies, practice and personnel capacity in Greene County. Denise Cross, director of the Division of Family Services, has resumed personal leadership of the state's child welfare functions until a new division is created as part of the reorganization of the Department of Social Services.
