Connie Landolt was promoted to compliance officer at The Bank's location on South Fremont Avenue. She has 21 years of banking experience, most recently as financial services manager and personal banking representative at The Bank. She is a graduate of Mineral Area College in Park Hills.

Health care

Dan Dwyer, PhD, joined St. John's Health System as the director of ethics. He holds a PhD in the sociology and history of medicine and a master's degree in social work.

Hospitality

Clint McConnell joined the Springfield Sheraton Hawthorn Park Hotel as catering manager. He studied foreign language and business at Southwest Missouri State University; Laval University in Quebec, Canada; and Imperial College in London, England.

Leslie Hackler-Nichols is the new corporate sales manager for the Sheraton Hawthorn Park Hotel. She attended SMSU and Drury University.

Human Resources

Ginger Martin was named sales manager for Express Personnel Services of Springfield. She has five years of experience in the staffing industry. Her responsibilities include overseeing new account sales and development.

Insurance

Linda Pinick recently joined Connell Insurors Inc. as a certified insurance service representative, assisting customers with auto, home, boat, condominium and umbrella coverage. She has been a licensed insurance agent for 27 years and spent seven years with the Taylor Agency, which Connell Insurors Inc. bought in 2001.

Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance recently announced the promotion of Shirley Johnson to public affairs manager. Her responsibilities include ensuring the public affairs program is in line with the company's objectives, corporate values and citizenship needs throughout the company's offices in Columbia, St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield. She has been with the company since 1995, and earned a certificate in corporate community relations from Boston College and a bachelor's degree in sociology from Lincoln University.

Karen L. Smith recently joined the staff of Ollis & Company as a commercial lines account executive. Her responsibilities include working with business owners on insurance and risk management needs. She has been a property and casualty agent in the southwest Missouri area since 1992.

Military

The 459th Transportation Company, U.S. Army Reserve, 1110 N. Fremont, held a change of command ceremony. The ceremony signified the change of command from Capt. Clay Pettit to Capt. Jason Bisby.

Publishing

Carrie Gaines joined 417, Springfield's Lifestyle Magazine, as an account representative. She holds a bachelor of science in marketing management from SMSU.
