Steve Irwin is the new Ward branch executive director. He served as director of sports for 13 years and has a degree in business administration from Evangel University. |ret||ret||tab|

Ashley DeWitt was promoted to branch executive of child care and Camp Wakonda. She has been with the YMCA for almost six years, serving as director of child care for the last three. |ret||ret||tab|

Casey Holck is the new Jones branch executive director. Holck has been with the Springfield YMCA for almost two years and was previously with the YMCA of Greater Des Moines, Iowa.|ret||ret||tab|

BG Service Solutions, a commercial contract cleaning company based in Kansas City, announced two staff changes at its Springfield office. Jennifer Jobe was promoted to customer service/sales. The Hollister Board of Aldermen appointed Mayor David G. Tate to serve as acting city administrator for a 90-day period beginning Feb. 1. Tate will act in this capacity in addition to serving as mayor. Previous city administrator John H. Lewis retired Feb. 1 due to health reasons after serving a 5 1/2 year term.|ret||ret||tab|

Lynn E. Allison, MD, Skaggs Community Health Center as a family medicine/obstetrics physician. She received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and has practiced medicine for 10 years, most recently at her practice in Hollister.|ret||ret||tab|

Dr. John. R. Martinez recently opened a practice in Branson and has been accepted to the medical staff at Skaggs Community Health Center. Martinez is an internal medicine physician specializing in kidney disease and dialysis. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine at Kansas City, performed his internal medicine internship and residency at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, and fellowship training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He was a staff physician at Freeman Hospital and St. John's Regional Medical Center, both in Joplin, for seven years.|ret||ret||tab|

Dr. Habib G. Munshi, an internal medicine physician specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine, has moved his practice to Branson and joined the staff at Skaggs Community Health Center. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Zambia at Lusaka, Zambia, and performed internships at University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago and Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. He performed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, Wis.|ret||ret||tab|

Paul Morrison joined the staff of Audio Acoustics Inc. as a health care communications sales representative. He will assist hospitals and nursing homes in Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas in the design of systems to improve patient-to-staff and staff-to-staff communication.
