Vonnie Mathiesen was named assistant city administrator for the city of Hollister, responsible for some of the daily operations. She has more than five years of experience working in administrative roles with the city and served as president of the Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce for two years.
Sen. Norma Champion (R-Springfield) was appointed to serve on the nine-member Missouri Film Commission by Senate President Pro Tem Peter Kinder. The commission's purpose is to attract and expand private investment in film production in Missouri and serves in an advisory capacity to the governor on film matters.

Christopher M. Sweet joined Great Southern Financial Services, a branch of Raymond James Financial Services Inc., as a financial advisor at the 1451 E. Battlefield Road location. He has more than 10 years of banking and investment experience. Sweet earned bachelor's degrees in organizational communication and business administration from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg.

Debi Campbell joined Great Southern Insurance as a personal lines insurance agent. She is responsible for assisting clients with auto, home, boat, motorcycle, umbrella and farm insurance needs. She has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Employee Benefit Design LLC announced the addition of two staff members. Franchel Krueger joined the company as an account representative. Her previous experience includes working for Cox HealthPlans. Camille Henry joined the company as a sales assistant. She is also a former employee of Cox HealthPlans.

Cary Nathan joined the law firm of Reynolds, Gold & Grosser PC's Springfield office as an associate. He holds a doctorate in law from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a bachelor's degree in religious studies and antiquities from SMSU. His practice areas of law include bankruptcy, Social Security disability and civil litigation.
