Shauna Smith joined U.S. Bank as the treasury management sales representative for the Springfield/Branson region. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas and more than eight years of experience in the banking industry.
The Bank announced the promotion of Denise Feldt to vice president of the Mortgage Bank. She has been in the banking and lending industry since 1985 and previously held the position of assistant vice president of The Mortgage Bank.
Health care
Judy Green was promoted to the position of customer service representative for the Workers' Compensation department at Family Medical Walk-In Clinic. Her responsibilities include customer service for the workers' compensation accounts as well as marketing assistant duties for three clinic locations. She has been with the clinic since 2002 and has more than 20 years of management and customer service experience.
Horticulture
Richard Hunter joined Homestead Nursery in Nixa as manager. He is a graduate of Mesa Junior College and also is manager of Ozarks Technical Community College's greenhouse.

The Springfield office of Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin LLP announced two new staff members.
S. Shawn Whitney joined the office as an associate in the firm's corporate department. He will practice in the area of corporate transactions and real estate. Whitney has a law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and a bachelor's degree in political science from Drury University.
Misty L. Durham joined the firm as a summer associate. She is a student at the University of North Carolina School of Law.

Missy Houzenga, Lebanon, was promoted to independent sales director with Mary Kay Cosmetics Inc. She has been with the company for more than three years, and is responsible for the training and development of a sales force. She attended Southwest Missouri State University and University of Missouri-Rolla.
