Brian Johnson, CPA, joined Hamra Enterprises as the company's controller. He has more than seven years of public accounting and four years of corporate accounting experience. He recently served as CFO for Brown Derby. Johnson is responsible for the administration of accounting policies throughout Hamra Enterprises. He also oversees accounting, planning and reporting for Wendy's of Missouri Inc., a Hamra Enterprises company.
Health care
Family Medical Walk-In Clinic announced three staff additions.
Brian Casey joined the clinic as a clinic services representative. Casey has more than 12 years of experience in the sales and marketing field, and he holds a degree in business management from Missouri Western University. His responsibilities include developing new relationships, servicing current clients and expending the clinic's presence in the community.
Valerie Stotlar also joined the staff as a clinic services representative. She has more than 10 years of experience in the marketing and insurance fields and she has a degree in marketing from Southwest Missouri State University. She is responsible for developing new relationships, assisting current clients with health care needs and increasing awareness of the three Family Medical Walk-In Clinics.
Mike Cagle joined the clinic as administrative assistant. He has more than nine years of experience in payroll and bookkeeping and he holds a master's degree in mathematics from SMSU. His responsibilities include new employee orientation and end-of-month reporting and administrative support.
Anna Fraser, MD, joined St. John's Clinic-Nixa Pediatrics & Family Medicine part-time as the city's first obstetrician-gynecologist. A board-certified OB/GYN, Fraser is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. She finished her residency and internships at MU, and most recently served there as faculty.
John A. Tanksley, DO, joined Ferrell-Duncan Clinic. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and has additional training in pediatric orthopedics and sports medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Mississippi and completed his residency at University Hospital in Jackson, Miss. He also completed a fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. For the past 10 years, Tanksley worked for Hutchison Hospital Corporation in Hutchison, Kan.
Law
The law firm of Wallace, Saunders, Austin, Brown & Enochs, Chartered, announced two additions at the firm's Springfield office.
Jacinda A. Thudium accepted an of counsel position with the firm. She earned her law degree at the College of William and Mary School of Law, and she has practiced as an attorney in Springfield for seven years. She focuses on workers' compensation defense, representing employers and insurers.
Kevin M. Johnson joined the firm as an associate. He earned his law degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Johnson focuses on workers' compensation law.
Daniel R. Wichmer was named Branson city attorney. He began his duties May 30. Wichmer earned his law degree in 1991 from the University of Missouri-Columbia and served as a law clerk for Missouri Supreme Court Justice John Holstein before entering private practice in 1992 with Lathrop & Gage. In private practice, his expertise was in construction and commercial litigation, medical malpractice defense and insurance defense. Since May 2001, Wichmer served as the outside litigation counsel for Branson, particularly in regard to the Branson Landing project.
