Banking
Guaranty Bank's board of directors announced two staff appointments.
Linda Lindsay was appointed vice president. She has been with Guaranty Bank since 1998. As manager of the loan servicing area, she oversees the maintenance of the bank's loan portfolio. She is responsible for maintaining efficient and accurate computer updates in the loan operation area. Lindsay has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry.
Susan Snyder was appointed consumer loan officer. Snyder has been with Guaranty Bank since 1996, starting as a teller and holding various positions on the deposit side of the bank. She moved to the consumer loan department in 2002.
Finance
The Payroll Company announced the promotion of Kim Payne to payroll director. Payne has been with The Payroll Company for two years.
Health care
Dr. Michael J. Workman joined Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute LLC and Litton Giddings Radiological Associates. Workman, an interventional neuroradiologist, has an office and clinic at SNSI, providing treatment for cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and arterial-occlusive disease of the head and neck, in addition to thrombolytic therapy for stroke. Workman received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed a radiology residency at Duke University and a fellowship in vascular and intervention neuroradiology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Law
Paul D. Link joined Lathrop & Gage as of counsel in the firm's Springfield office. His practice concentrates on commercial and banking litigation, bankruptcy and medical malpractice. He has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal courts, including trial and appellate practice. Prior to joining Lathrop & Gage, Link worked for Husch & Eppenberger. Link earned his undergraduate degree in 1993 from Southwest Missouri State University, and his juris doctorate in 1996 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
Arthur Olson has joined Legal Services of Southern Missouri as a staff attorney for its juvenile office. Olson received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. The juvenile office is a collaborative effort between Greene County and LSSM that provides legal assistance to low-income parents of juveniles in matters of neglect, abuse and related custody issues.
Museum
The History Museum for Springfield-Greene County appointed Michal Dale to the position of executive director. She has more than 30 years experience in education, business and media. Dale has a master's degree in communication and a bachelor's degree in education, from SMSU. Her previous experience includes teaching at the elementary level for Springfield Public Schools and in the School of Communication Studies at SMSU.
Technology
Neubix Interactive announced two staff additions and a promotion.
Cheri Coder joined the company as senior account executive. She is a graduate of SMSU with a bachelor's degree in computer information systems. Coder previously worked for Gateway and Dairy Farmers of America.
Nathan Borror joined Neubix Interactive in its design department. He also is a graduate of SMSU, with a bachelor's degree in electronic arts and a minor in design.
Ryan Sims, creative director for Neubix since March 2001, was promoted to vice president.
