The Springfield office of BKD LLP announced four promotions.
Certified public accountants Matthew J. Aug, Bradley K. Brotherton, Scott W. Gold and L. Jamison McDonald were promoted from supervisors to managers with the firm. Aug is a member of BKD Health Care Group. He assists long-term care facilities and hospitals with audits and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting. Brotherton is also a member of the firm's BKD Health Care Group. He provides assurance, third-party reimbursement consulting, and Medicare and Medicaid cost-report preparation services for hospitals and health systems. He also assists in valuing and monitoring patient receivables to improve financial statement accuracy. Gold, also a member of BKD Health Care Group, provides business consulting, assurance and reimbursement consulting services for long-term care facilities, hospitals and community health centers. McDonald provides tax-planning, consulting and preparation services for individuals. He performs tax services for manufacturers and retailers, with a special focus on auto dealerships.
Health care
Rick Erickson joined St. John's Pastoral Services as the director of pastoral services. He most recently served as the director of pastoral care at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare in La Crosse, Wis. Prior to that, Erickson spent 16 years as the director of pastoral care at St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis.
James B. Rice III, MD, joined the cardiology department of Ferrell-Duncan Clinic. Rice attended medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, and he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he also completed a cardiology fellowship. Rice has clinical training in coronary angiography and echocardiography, and comprehensive training in all major aspects of clinical cardiography and basic and clinical cardiovascular research. He is board-certified in internal medicine and board-eligible in cardiology.
Sales
Bryan Perriman rejoined Reliable Imports as general manager. Prior to returning to Springfield and Reliable, Perriman managed a Toyota store in Florida.
Technology
Mike Freyer joined the management team of All Comm Technologies as general manager. Freyer has 25 years of sales and management experience.
