Butler, Rosenbury & Partners announced the addition of two intern architects to the firm's staff.

Casey Greer is an intern architect in the firm's hospitality studio. He has a bachelor's degree in architecture from the Hammons School of Architecture at Drury University, and he is working toward his master's degree in business administration. He has studied in Costa Rica and Europe.

Susana Williams rejoined the firm as an intern architect. She worked at the firm in the summer of 1999 after receiving a 1999 Fellowship Award from the firm. Williams has a bachelor's degree of architecture from the University of Kansas.

Kevin C. Skibiski, PE, RLS, was elected president elect of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers. Installation ceremonies were held June 10 during MSPE's 63rd annual convention in St. Joseph. Skibiski is the department head for special projects at Scott Consulting Engineers, PC.

Brad Parrish, PE, principal of Palmerton and Parrish Inc., was presented the Extra Mile Resolution by the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers at MSPE's annual convention June 10. The resolution recognizes individuals who make an outstanding contribution to MSPE's objectives and goals by going above and beyond the call of duty. Parrish also was elected to a three-year term as the director of the Consulting Engineers Council of Missouri.

Farnsworth & Wylie Inc. was ranked No. 280 among the top 500 design firms by Engineering News Record magazine. The rankings are based on revenue earned for design services during 1999. Farnsworth & Wylie is the parent company of The Wischmeyer Architects and Avanti Technologies.

Butler Rosenbury & Partners awarded fellowships to Marci Conrad and Jennifer Russina. Conrad is a student at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, and Russina is a student at the School of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Kansas. Both received cash prizes of $2,500 for fall tuition, books and materials, as well as paid summer internships with the firm.

Interior Design

Jeris Ferguson and Linda Schaeffer of Habersham Interiors attended the International Market in High Point, N.C. The event is the largest wholesale home furnishings show in the world.

Becky Green passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification Exam, earning the NCIDQ certification for professional interior designers. Green is employed by Interior Planning Consultants Inc.

Catherine E. King received National Council for Interior Design Qualification certification. King is a designer with J. Webb Designs & Associates Inc.

Construction

Bell Building Systems Inc. was listed among the top 100 metal builders by Metal Construction News, which ranks Bell Building Systems as one of the largest steel purchasers in the United States. The company was ranked No. 23 out of 300. Bell Building Systems also has achieved the $20 million sales level and has been named the No. 1 volume dealer by the Buildings Division of Butler Manufacturing Co.

D J Roofing Supply Inc. was named a Wather Stopper Master Distributor by GAF Materials Corp. Master Distributors commit to stock the complete five-part roofing system and to provide a one-stop shopping source for customers.
