Project description: Penmac Staffing Services Inc. is getting a modern, open floor plan for the main floor of its office building with a project that includes complete demolition and infill, according to construction officials. The space includes support offices for the company’s registration, testing and training operations, plus a new break room. Upgrades to the building include new finishes, roof insulation for improved heating, ventilation and air conditioning performance, new LED lighting, sound control baffles and tile. Additionally, bathrooms will be made accessible according to Americans with Disabilities Act standards, and ramps will be added. The architect is Dake Wells Architecture Inc., and engineers are RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, structural; and Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
