Penmac ranks among fastest-growing firms

Springfield-based Penmac ranked No. 42 on the list of 47 companies. To make the list, companies had to average at least 25 percent annual growth, adjusted for acquisitions, between 2002 and 2006.

Penmac, led by owner Patti Penny, provides temporary and permanent staffing solutions to manufacturing, clerical, transportation and professional entities. The firm began in 1988 with one office and has grown to 43 branches in seven states.[[In-content Ad]]
