Peloton recalled its Tread+ and Tread treadmills on Wednesday.
The move came a month after Peloton refused a recall requested by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The CPSC pointed to one child death and 70 other injuries tied to the treadmills.
In the recall notice yesterday, Peloton officials said the company was wrong to go against the CPSC recommendation.
